Delighted to read this fabulous review of Cows Can’t Jump in SLAP Magazine - a Gloucestershire/Worcestershire based magazine supporting local arts. I studied at university in Cheltenham, and much of the book is set in the town.

My favourite line from this review? This absolute gem:

“…

the study of literature should also include a very important criterion: is it a bloody good read? For me Philip Bowne’s novel, Cows Can’t Jump hits the criterion as easy as hitting a cow’s ass with a banjo!”
